The spray foam industry is in a state of change and we want to always keep our customers up to date. The biggest change that we saw last year was the industry shift on applicator training requirements. The Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) has developed a new Professional Certification Program (PCP). We have always been big proponents of training in the SPF industry and we are pleased to be having spray foam guru Mason Knowles on hand to present the new PCP at our conference. There are less than a handful of people in the SPF industry that have not only Mason's knowledge of SPF, but his experience and passion. He truly loves what he does and it shows in his presentations. The new SPFA PCP is an internationally recognized certification which meets the ANSI/ISO 17024 Standard. Individual certifications will be available at four different levels in two categories - Insulation and Roofing. At this year's conference, we will be focusing on insulation. The four different levels of certification are; Assistant, Installer, Master Installer, and Project Manager. Everyone must start at the bottom and work their way up. For full details on the SPFA Professional Certification for Insulation, click here. To download the Insulation Enrollment forms, click here. Fees for the certification will be paid directly to the SPFA. The SPFA fees do not cover the expense of the training classes, lunch, etc. We try to keep the fees to a minimum, just to cover our costs. Fees for coming to the conference are a low $299 per person.
The schedule will be as follows:
