Spray Polyurethane Foam

Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) is the ideal method for insulating commercial and residential buildings. Spray foam stops air and moisture intrusion, cuts energy bills, strengthens the structure, and protects the internal air from mold, airborne pollutants, and allergens, thereby creating healthy buildings. At SprayFoam Distributors of New England, we’re dedicated to helping you build and sustain your business. This is why we offer only the best spray foam materials from Bayer Material Science.  Bayer Material Science manufactures spray foam wall insulation, roofing spray foam insulation, and a full line of specialty coatings that are used for thermal and moisture protection, roofing, waterproofing, abrasion resistance, and other applications. Bayer MaterialScience products enhance the total building envelope to provide sustainability, durability, energy efficiency, and improved occupant comfort.

Insulation materials are manufactured to meet a variety of specifications and standards. Selecting the best-suited insulation for residential, commercial and other construction projects is dependant on building performance objectives. Performance areas can include safety, durability, air quality, low-cost energy, sustainability and comfort.

Bayseal insulation not only provides an extremely high R-value but the ability to minimize air intrusion, accumulation, radiative heat transfer and air movement. The application technology allows the spray polyurethane foam to expand, filling cracks, crevices and voids. This creates a “seamless” air barrier system that provides optimal building envelope performance.

Bayseal is the “perfect fit” to improve the overall building performance package and create an energy efficient, climate controlled, healthier indoor environment.

Spray Foam Distributors of New England is proud to be the largest Authorized Distributor / Supplier of Bayer MaterialScience’s Bayseal Insulation and Roofing Foams in the New England region.

BaySeal Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation

Bayseal CC is a closed-cell foam seals the building envelope to create an optimal energy efficient environment. Bayseal insulation is recommended for non-vented attics, ceilings, floors, foundations, piping, and non-vented crawl spaces. Bayseal offers an aged R-value of 6.9 per inch.

A semi-rigid 1.91b density closed cell spray foam. BaySeal closed cell foam has the highest aged R-value of any spray foam at 6.9 per inch! This foam is a one shot air barrier and vapor retarder. Suitable for use in wall assemblies, sprayed directly to underside of roofs, stone foundations, crawlspaces or anywhere else superior insualtion is required. Polar Pro is the cold weather version of the closed cell. It also comes in a 3.01b density for use in roofing applications.

BaySeal Open Cell Spray Foam Insulation

Bayseal OC open-cell polyurethane foam technology offers a complete air barrier system. Buildings insulated with Bayseal OC provide occupants a quieter and more comfortable indoor space. Bayseal OC adds significant energy efficiency value by filling open voids, cracks and crevices during installation. Bayseal OC insulation is recommended for walls, attics, ceilings and floors. Bayseal OC offers an aged R-value of 3.9 per inch.

A soft flexible foam with the look and feel of angel food cake. BaySeal open cell foam has an R-value of 3.4-3.8 per inch. This foam acts as an air barrier and is suitable for use in wall assemblies, sprayed directly to underside of roofs and rim joists. Although it is not a vapor retarder, it does offer some moisture protection as it stops moisture-laden air from freely moving through ceiling and wall assemblies. It is also good for interior partitions and sound dampening.
